  • Taxis

Taxis are prevalent in and around the city of Chicago. Taxis in the state of Illinois must display their fare rates inside the cab and on a convenient, easy-to-understand chart. Taxis from the airport charge a $2 airport departure/arrival tax per trip, not per person. If you are inside the city limits, taxis are easy to hail. Ask your hotel doorman for help.
